2009

The 2009 Bertrand & Blanche Letendre Student Athletic Training Summer School Scholarship has been awarded to Rosemary Wiser. Ms. Wiser is a junior at Gould Academy in Bethel, ME. This scholarship provides funds for students interested in careers in the sports medicine field of athletic training to attend a summer camp focused on athletic training.

2008

The 2008 Bertrand & Blanche Letendre Student Athletic Training Summer School Scholarship has been awarded to Hannah Frantz. Ms. Frantz is a junior at Proctor Academy in Andover , NH where she participates in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. She's been interested in medicine since she would wrap gauze around her Barbies. The combination of interests in sports and medicine has led to her interest in athletic training. Congratulations, Hannah!

2007

Kelsey Isham, a 16-year-old junior from Manchester Memorial High School received the summer camp scholarship.  Kelsey is an excellent student and varsity athlete (soccer, softball).  Kelsey became interested in a career in physical therapy or athletic training because she enjoys helping others build/rebuild their strength and recover from injuries.  The summer camp helped her explore careers in this area and was an excellent experience for her. Kelsey attended the Athletic Training Student Workshop offered by Springfield College during the summer of 2007.  Congratulations, Kelsey!
